This link is missing its key, the part after the #. Some apps cut it off when they open a link. Paste the whole link here:

*Right now accounts do nothing other than put your name on the 'uploaded by' tag on files. While it is mostly for testing purposes right now, the database will not be reset so you can stake your claim to a short username.

and other important information
send.zip (the online service) and send.zip (the web app you have loaded right now) are two different programs. Encryption is done in the latter, in your browser, without connecting to the internet, your file is loaded into ram, encrypted using AES, then uploaded without the key. This also means if you lose your key I can not help you recover your files. ))):
send.zip uses one cookie, and only once you sign in, to remember who you are. Nothing else on the site needs one.
No
Most browsers get the file a block at a time, decrypt it in the page, and write it straight to your downloads. An iPhone, and a private window in Firefox, cannot do that, so there the whole file is downloaded to memory, decrypted, and only then saved, which a very large file may be too big for.
send.zip is a file transfer service, not a file storage service. Storage is far more expensive to give away for free, or even sell. I may add a paid tier for file storage when send.zip has scaled up enough to make this viable.
The average user really does not spend that much bandwidth, so a small amount of paid users can effectively subsidize the site for everyone else. Even if there are no paid users, I have a large unused bandwidth allowance from my other sites which only use at most 1% of my bandwidth, leaving the other 99% for send.zip.
I plan to keep the core file sending service free forever (with no bullshit) for both practical and moral reasons. It is more apparent every day that the most important resource of the 21st century is attention, and so much of it is spent on meaninglessly complex tasks like finding a way to send a 9mb file to your friends (while streaming in 720p to them for the last 10 hours).
Every file is encrypted in your browser, and so are its name, date and size, so none of them can be read without the link. The server sees only the size rounded up, and keeps it for as long as the file is uploaded. After that, all that is kept is a count for each day: how many files were uploaded, how big they were, and how often they were downloaded, with nothing saying whose they were.
If you report a link, what you send is kept with the report.
Files can't be opened without their key. If you want us to be able to check this one, paste the full link, including the part after the #. Everything you send here is stored with your report. For more about copyright reports, see copyright.
and how to get a file taken down
Use the report form and choose Copyright. A report needs your signature, the work being copied, the send.zip link, your email, and the statement on the form.
If the report is complete, the file is taken down. We can't see inside files, so include the full link with its key, or we will act on the report alone.
Send a counter-notice through the report form (choose Something else) with: your signature; the link that was taken down; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was taken down by mistake; your name, address and phone number; and a statement that you agree to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any district where send.zip can be found) and will accept legal papers from the person who reported it.
If files uploaded from an account are taken down three times, the account is closed and can no longer sign in. Files uploaded without an account are taken down the same way.
